Eligibility Criteria To Apply

1. You should be 18 years and above to qualify for this program
2. You should obtain an endorsement from one of the below endorsing bodies.
   1. Royal Society
   2. UK research and innovation
   3. Royal academy of Engineering
   4. The British Academy
   5. Arts council of England
   6. Tech Nation

   While the first 4 endorsing bodies apply to those applying in the fields of science, engineering, medicine, social or humanities, the applications from non-academic personnel will need to approach Arts council of England or Tech Nation for endorsement.

   Each of these endorsing bodies has their own set of criteria to assess an applicant. The applicants will be segregated under two criteria, one who have already proven their talent in the field and another are those who are at the beginning stages of their careers. While the first criteria are labeled Exceptional talent Criteria, the second is labeled Exceptional Promise criteria.

3. You will need to earn a score of a minimum of 70 points at the time of entry clearance and also when applying for LTR visa. To earn the 70 points at the time of entry clearance, you must
   1. Have been issued an endorsement letter
   2. Have received such an endorsement letter from an authorized endorsing body
   3. Have received the letter during the 3 months just prior to your application submission
   Have ensured that your endorsement letter has not been revoked for any reason possible
4. You need to provide enough documental evidence to prove your talent or your potential in the field chosen. This could involve any kind of publishing of your work in any magazine or newspaper, any kind of recognition in the field, distribution of your work and application. These again should be recent and relevant to your field of specialization. You should have exceptional track record

Arts Council – Endorsing Body Requirement:

Non-academician applicants will be directed towards Arts council for endorsement. They handle applicants who contribute to the fields of all kinds of arts. It involves combined arts, dance, Literature, Music, theatre, visual arts and more.

You will need to provide documental evidence or any other form of evidence to help the Arts council endorse your stand. Any proof of your performance is useful.

Along with this, you will need to provide at least 3 letters of support from any cultural organization or recognized experts in your field.

If you are of exceptional talent, you will need to provide evidence from atleast 2 different countries proving your stand.

However, the number of proofs submitted cannot exceed 10.

The British Academy, The Royal Society, The Royal Academy Of Engineering – Requirement:

You must apply for endorsement from these bodies if you are in the field of science, engineering, humanities and medicine.

Depending on your expertise, these endorsing bodies will allow your application for endorsement to be assessed either in fast-tracked or in full-review mode.

The applicant will need to provide the required documents.

Tech Nation – Requirement:

Tech Nation is the endorsing body for all personnel with digital background, as appointed by the Home office. If you are applying as an expert in the field of digital technology, then you will need to prove.

1. Your expertise in the latest technology which include building, using, deploying or exploiting technology and building technical infrastructure, if you are applying as a technical expert
2. If you are applying as a business applicant, then you will have to prove your expertise in investments and commerce for tech products or your product expertise at building the tech products
3. You need to provide documental evidence to prove your track record in technology or in tech investments or contributions to the field of technology.

The Process:

There are 2 stages in the process.

1. Apply for endorsement.

1. The endorsing body take 28 days to process the endorsement application. This is true only if there are no queries from the endorsing body. Delays could happen based on the situations

2. Apply for Global Talent Visa after receiving the endorsement.

1. The process depends on your location.
2. If you are living outside of UK, then you will be approaching your nearest UK consulate to get your “Entry Clearance” done.
3. Once you receive this, you are good to fly to UK.
4. It could take 3 to 8 weeks for the application to be processed.

This program does not require you to satisfy any language tests. However, when applying for Leave to Remain Visa, you will need to take up the Language test to prove your language ability.
